Can you tell us a little about your journey that led to you to creating Authentic Marketing and mentoring Conscious and Spiritual Entrepreneurs?

Paige’s Story

After a brutal divorce and the heart-break of losing custody of my children, I moved to New York City to “fulfill my dream” of becoming a singer and actor. After several years as a “starving artist” I was offered a job in the banking industry. While I was not conscious of it at the time I would be putting my dreams on hold, as what was going to be a “bridge job” turned into a 10-year career. The unexpected thing was that I became an Assistant Vice President in one of the world’s largest banks.

Also during this time I discovered a small spiritual gathering in the heart of the west village in NYC. I must admit that up until this time there had never been much sense of religion or Spirituality in my life. But the message in this little center was one of love, self-responsibility and complete dominion over your own life.

I would stay involved in that spiritual center for over 10 extraordinary and transformational years. I was an active leader, taking every class I could, helping organize events, heading project committees and eventually leading healing and prosperity workshops and groups. It was also a place where I could express myself through music, which all brought me great joy and blessings.

Perhaps the greatest blessing was meeting Brian, my life partner, business partner and love of my life.

Brian’s Story

When I was 19 I had what I call a “falling out with God” and I spent nearly a decade in a crisis of faith that ended in an ugly divorce and an even uglier realization that I had completely lost my identity and my connection to Self.

And then at the lowest point of my life I was led to this incredible spiritual center that would become my home for the next 5 years.

I felt like after years in the desert I had finally found the hidden oasis. And I began to drink it all in, every class, every opportunity to learn and grow, every book I could get my hands on.

After a couple of years I was guided to begin giving back, and that was when I began to work with the newly formed marketing committee at the center, which led to serving on the Board, which led to freelance editing a very successful spiritual book, which led to implementing a national book launch event involving a major publisher, a thousand spiritual centers nationwide and a month of prayer.

But the greatest opportunity I received while I was at this center was meeting Paige, who truly is my partner in every way.

Our Story

It is a Universal Spiritual Principle that we’re either growing or we’re dying and from the moment we came together we began to grow at mock speed.

After finally connecting with one another at our spiritual center, we moved in together and committed to creating our lives as partners. It was a joyous and exciting time as we spent many nights up until 3am talking about Truth and exploring our next possible adventure. We also began to write and publish our “Today’s Truth” meditations.

Then one night Paige was on the phone with her mother, when her mother suddenly needed to get off the phone. So they said, “I love you” to each other and hung up.

The next afternoon, we received the news that would change the course of our lives... Paige’s mother had had a heart attack and died the night before.

We both began taking a deeper look at our lives.

Paige had been in corporate banking for over ten years and Brian had been in the entertainment industry for over twenty years. We finally took a good hard look at the fact that these “jobs” didn’t suit us anymore. We had out grown them and it was time to leave “The City”.

No sooner had we made that decision than an opportunity appeared to move to the Catskill mountains, rent-free, into a wonderful 4-bedroom house, in return for doing some volunteer work for a nonprofit. The house had amazing views and it even had a fenced-in yard for our dog, Luna.

So we basically took a sabbatical. We spent many hours by the fire – meditating, reading and talking. And that is where we decided to do life a different way. We decided to create a spiritually-based business that would help and support people along their spiritual journey.

This is when we began working on our Life Purpose life coaching business. And we were sure it was the next right step. We made up some business cards, created a website and waited for the phone to ring... and waited... and waited. 

A short time later we received a clear intuitive message that it was time for us to move again and head toward the New England coast. We had learned to trust this urge, to go with it and not to fight it. Only this time it was inspiring us to take an even greater step.

We decided it was time to make a clean break and to start this new stage of our life from the purist place of freedom and service we knew. So we decided to donate most of our worldly possessions to the non-profits we had been working with and to head to the coast.

We were Spirit-led the whole way, one synchronistic event after another. All of which led to our beautiful house on the Maine coast.

Once we were settled into our new home, we printed out new business cards for our “Life Purpose, Life Coaching” business and again waited for the phone to ring.
After months of struggling we were again led by Spirit to reach out for help, the moment we made the decision to get help, the right and perfect business coach came into our life. We began working with her and she helped us see all the potential we had to share with our clients and the world.

So we decided to take our life purpose business to the next level and REALLY help our clients get their gifts out in the world…literally. Voila! Authentic Marketing was born.

Authentic Marketing represents the culmination of all our talents, all our gifts. We have combined our love of helping others grow and achieve greatness, with our understanding of Universal Spiritual Principles, our love of story, and our love of communication and building relationships.

Once we had clarity, we were able to focus our energy and the Universe returned in like. Our business began to take off. Our clients’ lives and businesses began to grow. We stepped into the flow. We were no longer swimming against the current.

And that’s our passion, our calling and that’s all we want for others - the opportunity to step into their own passion, their own purpose and do it successfully! And they do this by fully embracing their own gifts and talents, becoming crystal clear about who they can best help (and how they can best help them), and this allows them to make more money and spend more time doing what they love!
